Mediheal Dresscode Black Sheet Mask Review

Mediheal Dresscode Black Sheet Mask

I love printed masks with all of my black little heart. The Mediheal Dress Code series is among the most surprisingly nice mask categories I've tried. Normally I'm willing to sacrifice a little function for a cool factor every now and then. With these I find no sacrifice is required. Even the ones i don't love most still preform better than many masks from my bins.

Mediheal Dresscode Black Sheet MaskThe packaging shows you which mask you will be using. This one is the black. It's the only mask with little plastic gemstones on it. I don't know why but I enjoy them. It was actually the first mask that I used so I was excepting them on the other masks like the Dress Code Red Medi Heal Mask but no such luck!
The back has a list of ingredients.

Obviously this mask makes killer Instagram shots... Never something I thought I would consider...
I'll be perfectly honest and tell you that I repurschased this mask just to write a review. I lost all my photos because I was taking pictures on multiple different devices and I failed to save them. Sad day.
This means I got to use this one twice!
(No that wasn't an evil plan)

So What's in it?

Well in case you can't read the tiny print...

Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Xanthan Gum, Carbomer, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, Panthenol, Trehalose, Betaine, Hippophae Rhamnoides Water, Glycine Max (Soybean) Seed Extract, Pisum Sativum (Pea) extract, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Extract, PearlExtract, Honey Extract, Caviar Extract, Propolis Extract, Royal Jelly Extract, Paeonia Lactiflora Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polygonum Multiflorum Root Extract, Phellinus Linteus Extract, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Sophora Flavescens Root Extract, Cimicifuga Racemosa Root Extract, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Extract, Angelica Gigas Root Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Methylparaben, Portulaca Oleracaea Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Beta-Glucan, Allantoin, Triethanolamine, Polysorbate-80, Fragrance

COSDNA Analysis Allatonin was the only red flag I saw that isn't super super common but again you know your skin better than a website.

I'm always happy to see niacinamide and beta-glucan (even
all the way at the end there guys.) Pearl extract is one of                                                                       those featured ingredients I am still on the fence about myself.

How did it go?

Well? This one feels nice. It looks adorable. Of all the masks it's the only one with jewels on it. Adorable little jewels. How could I pass?
Well let's talk about the purpose of the mask. The black mask is meant to have whitening properties.
I use a lot of brightening products so compared with the My Scheming and My Beauty Diary masks I am not wowed by the brightening powers. For intense  luxury I prefer my Koelf  hydro gels. I like the black better than the red but so far I think the blue is my big winner. These still rank a 4/5 because they are functional skincaretainment.

Final Rating?

1- I want both my money and the time I spent using this product back. It should never be used and if I encounter another in my collection it goes to the trash bin.
2- The product is nothing special but not horrible. I would use it again or give it away if I got it as a free sample.
3-The product is nice enough but I would not repurchase because I have many better options. May be better suited for others
4-I really like this and would likely repurchase if I do not find something better.
5-I love this product and it has become a staple in my collection.
So now you know what the numbers mean!
